My last haircut was on February 2, 2018—the day before Monica’s wedding. Last week I finally went back in to clean up my act.
It's not that I dislike the actual process of getting my hair done. Rather, it's the calling and scheduling and setting aside the time to do it. It's just a hassle and I'm not one of those women who loves to spend my time at the spa. But…I finally did it. As part of my middle-aged makeover, I swear never to let it get that shaggy again! I'm committed to getting it cut at least once every four months. That's all I've got for right now.
Thanks to my stylist, Samantha Hone, and her salon Artisan Hair & Spa in Lindon, Utah, for allowing me to film the entire process. Special thanks to my wonderful son, Caleb Smith, of BroAntics for spending his morning doing the videography—even though my gimbal broke and he had to do the whole thing hand held!
