Be the most loving, caring, thoughtful person on earth during the Covid-19 pandemic! Don’t kill grandma! Also, don’t breathe where other people are breathing. Stop being selfish by living!
I have solved the mask wearing dilemma for those who encounter uncooperative and irresponsible adults who refuse to protect me. You’re welcome!
To be clear: I’m a grandma and have multiple people (depending on the criteria used) in my immediate family who are in Covid-19 risk groups.
I would never expect, demand, nor shame others into wearing a mask, staying home, closing their business, losing their job, being removed from loved ones, or in any way sequestering in order to protect me and my family.
We are responsible adults. We will protect ourselves to the degree we deem necessary.
We take personal responsibility. We will choose the risks we are willing to take and which to avoid.
As we always have.
Life has always had risks. Infectious diseases and viruses have always existed—they were here eons before the latest coronavirus. Activities, events, and actions have always come with the possibility of a negative outcome.
That's life. I prefer to let you live as you see fit and would ask the same courtesy in return.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
