If you've ever had fruit flies, you know how persistent the little buggers are. And if you have fruit trees in your yard, you know that harvest time often brings a nasty little fruit fly infestation. This week's vlog is a little off the beaten path, but since we actually had fresh fruit coming in from our trees last week, it was a chance to share a quick home care tip with you all.

To do this yourself, you just need these four things:

  • Small bowl
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Dishwashing liquid
  • Plastic wrap

Put some vinegar and a bit of dishwashing liquid into the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap to seal. Use a sharp knife or scissors to cut a slit across the the plastic wrap. Set bowl near fruit flies for 24–48 hours.

Goodbye, fruit flies!
