When tragedy strikes, one of the most common things people say is, “Everything happens for a reason.”
It's meant to bring comfort but, too often, it raises even harder questions. What do we mean by that? Are we saying that our tragedy is God's will? That God caused the suffering? That it was part of some grand design?
In this Sunday bonus vlog, I’m diving into a topic that’s been on my heart for a long time: faith, agency, and the real reasons behind life’s hardest trials. I’ll share why I believe in a loving God—but not in a God who causes evil. I'll address the power of agency, the reality of a fallen world, and how we can grow through suffering without blaming God for it.
