I am not a plant girl, but when we became emptier nesters, one of my daughters—who has well over a 100 plants in her apartment—convinced me to turn this converted bedroom (now sauna room) into a more Zenlikee experience, she convinced me to start getting some plants.
Traditionally, my experience with plants is that I simply kill them. But she's teaching me and helping me and moving me along. And I'm getting better!
But I want to share with you one of my favorite plant finds that is now permanently housed in my zen room.
This is my five-level plant stand. I call it six levels, because I actually use the bottom level for plants, as well.
You can see different heights. The top is about 34 inches high and each of the smaller tiers is a little bit larger than 7 inches wide.
One thing I want you to notice is it has casters to make it roll around easily, as you can see. But the good thing I like about it is that each of these is also lockable, so that you can make it stationary, which is good because my little grandsons love to play with things that roll around and undoubtedly this would get tipped over. But it hasn't been a problem because of the locking casters.
When I got enough plants, I needed a place to display some of the smaller ones and this worked perfectly.
Now I'll show you what it looks like dressed and ready to go.
